About the Race

The #SkechersVirtualRun is your virtual chance to be part of the very popular RunInDubai series and receive all the SWAG that you would if you were part of the actual run!

This virtual run is for all ages and abilities and can be run in and around your home and community. All you need to do is complete the respective distance you entered, take a screenshot or photo and upload it to your Instagram or Facebook page and tag us in with your run data, photos and videos at #SkechersVirtualRun and stand a chance to win Lucky Draw vouchers valued at AED1,000.

The official RunInDubai t-shirt, medal and certificate will be couriered to you after the run.

Run Day Program
  • Start / Finish: All Weekend on 23 & 24 October.
  • There is no official set start time, so you have the whole weekend to complete any of the distances on offer.
  • Cut off time to upload and tag #SkechersVirtualRun is at midnight on the second day (last day).
Rules & Regulations
  • Respective distance has to be completed on the run date – 23 & 24 October.
  • You must record your run on a GPS tracker (free apps are available to record this for you, if you don’t have a tracker do check out GPS trackers from your respective App store) and upload a screenshot of the date, distance ran and time you ran the distance, including any photos or videos to your Facebook or Instagram page and use the hashtag #SkechersVirtualRunInDubai.
  • Treadmills are allowed.
  • You must have registered online for the event. Enter here.
  • Cut off time to upload and tag #SkechersVirtualRunInDubai is at midnight on Saturday, 24 October 2020.
  • This is a FUN RUN so no official results or rankings will be available.
  • Only UAE residents are eligible for prizes which will be announced on Monday at 9am!
Water Stations

Remember to drink enough on your run as the weather is warming up and you need to stay hydrated.

End of the Race Procedures
  • When finishing your respective distance, remember to take photos or screenshots of the distance you just run. Upload it to your Facebook or Instagram page and use the hashtag #SkechersVirtualRunInDubai ASAP.
  • The Lucky Draw Winners will be announced on Monday, 26 October at 9am!
  • Cut off time to upload and tag #SkechersVirtualRunInDubai is at midnight on Saturday, 24 October 2020.
Race Results
  • Upload a photo / screenshot of your result to your Facebook or Instagram page and tag us in on #SkechersVirtualRunInDubai. Make sure that your account setting is public so that we can see your participation entry.
  • Cut off time to upload and tag #SkechersVirtualRunInDubai is at midnight on Saturday, 24 October 2020.
  • This is a FUN RUN so no official results or rankings will be available.

  • If using Instagram, make sure that your account setting is public so that we can see your participation entry.
  •  You can redeem the digital prize voucher at the Skechers store which is located in Al Joud Centre, Al Quoz. The voucher will be valid for 6 months.
  •  The Lucky Draw Winners will be announced on Monday 26th October at 9am!
